"You might have seen a lot of cars…" Mark Hamill, Corvette Summer

Well actually… I have.

There is no getting around that. As you can see from the photo below. I got involved in moviecars at a very young age.

Ever since that day, I was hooked. There was no supercar that Detroit or even Modena could produce that could compare to the fantastic crimefighting vehicles of the silver screen. KITT was one of my first cars, along the way I’ve had a Ferrari, a Lamborghini, a Porsche, and a half dozen Vettes, they were wonderful but eventually I got tired of them.

I still have KITT…

Over the years, I found moviecars in the strangest of places. I found the Delorean Coyote completely covered with sawdust in the back of a cabinet-making factory, the Knight 2000 in a field with a small tree growing out of the opening where the scanner had once been, an Indy car being used as a boardroom table, and a TV Batmobile in an office at a recording studio. I have since learned the value of having a camera at my side at all times, you never know where they’ll turn up.

Here are a few of my favorites:
